This is an integral part of the smart card production chain. IC modules are punched out of the tape, placed and securely fixed in the cavity of the card. We are fully certified by all major payment brands to offer this service with in our plant.
This process is used to pre-punch the SIM-plug for GSM, UMTS, etc. The plugs are not completely punched from the card but still fixed in the card by two or more bridges. This service is required in the production of GSM SIM cards .
